He is primarily a trumpet player but has also developed his own unique double-side bow instrument (a fusion of W African instruments like the n’goni and kora with modern electronics). He is the nephew of jazz innovator and legendary sax man, Donald Harrison, Jr. Since 2002, Adjuah has released 12 critically-acclaimed and award-winning studio recordings, 3 live albums and one greatest hits collection.
